The on-going restoration of the House was recently part of the focus of the BBC One programme ‘Restoring England’s Heritage’. Two production companies, one from Brighton and the other Bristol, produced programmes which included a segment updating on projects previously featured in the ‘Restoration’ programme 10 years ago. The feature went out in geographically specific slots and the House was featured therefore in both the BBC South and BBC West versions on December 5th at 7.30pm. The project was held up to be a great example of how Charitable Trusts, the Local Council and Commercial Enterprises can come together for the greater good of heritage and the Arts.
Both programmes are available to watch on BBC iplayer right now.
